HotelJobs is assisting a well-established Cape Town-based premium travel and tours company in sourcing an experienced Head of Sales. The role focuses on leading new-business development across DMCs, five-star hotels, and luxury travel agents, while building a high-performing sales team and owning targets, pipeline, and forecasting.

The ideal candidate has proven B2B luxury travel sales leadership, strong commercial judgment, and excellent CRM and presentation skills.

Qualifikationen

• Proven B2B sales leadership experience.
• Experience selling through luxury travel, hotel, DMC or premium tourism channels.
• Strong commercial judgement and pricing sense.
• Excellent CRM, pipeline management and forecasting; proficient in Excel and business reporting.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable representing a premium brand.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally for client visits.
• Sales/business/tourism/hospitality qualification preferred or equivalent experience.

Aufgaben

• Own and execute the new-business development plan with targets, budgets, and MD-approved priorities.
• Lead day-to-day sales activity: qualify leads, engage decision-makers, prepare proposals, close accounts.
• Build and manage the Sales department: recruit, onboard, coach, and manage performance.
• Develop new business across DMC, hotel, and luxury channels to protect premium positioning.
• Maintain a prioritised prospect database with clear stages and next actions.
• Coordinate with CRM, GM, and Client Relationship Manager on new accounts and handovers.
• Run weekly pipeline reviews and monthly sales reviews; report on performance and forecasts.
