Rondebosch Boys’ Preparatory School is looking for an experienced, compassionate and forward-thinking educator to join our school as Head of Learning Support. This is an important leadership position within our school. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate our Learning Support Team, work closely with teachers and families and help ensure that learners who experience barriers to learning receive appropriate and meaningful support. The Role

The Head of Learning Support will provide leadership and coordination to the school's Learning Support Team and contribute to the development of effective systems and strategies to support learners. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, school management, parents and relevant support professionals to identify learning needs, coordinate appropriate interventions and monitor learner progress. The role requires someone who can see the individual learner behind the learning difficulty and who can help teachers and parents understand how best to support each boy. The position also includes an allocated teaching timetable as part of the normal weekly schedule.
