The position isresponsible for leading and overseeing the Business Analysis, Systems Analysis,Data Delivery, Helpdesk, Testing, and Desktop Support functions within WesternNational Insurance. The role requires a strong combination of insurance domainknowledge, business analysis expertise, technical architecture capability, andvendor management experience. It serves as a key link between business andtechnology, ensuring that IT solutions align with strategic business objectiveswhile supporting operational efficiency and service excellence.

Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy and BusinessAlignment
- Develop, own and executethe short and long-term IT strategy in support of the business objectives.
- Align technologyinvestments, architecture and delivery plans with business priorities andPSG Group strategic direction.
- Serve as a trusted advisorto MANCO and business leadership on technology opportunities, risks andinvestment decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, automation anddata-driven decision-making.
2. Technology Delivery andArchitecture
- Lead the design,implementation and continuous improvement of scalable, secure andefficient technology solutions.
- Oversee the softwaredevelopment lifecycle, systems integration activities and enterprisetechnology initiatives.
- Ensure technologysolutions deliver measurable business value and support operationaleffectiveness.
- Establish and maintainappropriate architecture, design and development standards.
3. Operational TechnologyManagement
- Ensure the availability,stability, performance and resilience of critical business systems andinfrastructure.
- Oversee incidentmanagement, service delivery and production support processes.
- Drive continuousimprovement in system reliability, service quality and operationalefficiency.
- Ensure technology servicesare delivered in accordance with agreed service standards.
4. Data and InformationManagement
- Establish and maintaindata governance frameworks, standards and controls.
- Provide oversight of dataarchitecture, data quality, reporting capabilities and informationmanagement practices.
- Support the business inleveraging data and analytics for decision-making and regulatoryreporting.
- Ensure appropriatecontrols exist to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availabilityof information assets.
5. Cyber Security, Risk andResilience
- Maintain executiveoversight of cyber security, information security and technology riskmanagement.
- Ensure disaster recovery,backup and recovery capabilities remain effective and fit for purpose.
- Lead technology-relatedrisk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance withapplicable regulatory, governance and security requirements.
6. Vendor and FinancialManagement
- Manage the IT budget toensure effective utilisation of technology investments.
- Oversee key technologyvendors, service providers and outsourced partners.
- Negotiate and monitorservice agreements to ensure quality, value and risk mitigation.
- Ensure third-partytechnology arrangements are appropriately governed and monitored.
7. Leadership and PeopleManagement
- Lead, develop and mentorthe Information Technology team.
- Build organisationalcapability through succession planning, coaching and skills development.
- Foster a culture ofaccountability, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
8. Governance and ExecutiveManagement
- Partner as a member ofManagement Committee (MANCO) and contribute to broader business strategyand decision-making.
- Provide regular reportingon technology performance, key risks, project delivery and strategicinitiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective IT governance structures, policies and standards.
- Ensure audit findings,risk actions and compliance obligations are effectively managed andaddressed.
- Bachelors degree inInformation Systems or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years’experience in a similar role
- Experience managing acomplex environment with a strong focus on automation and systemintegrations
- Demonstrated experienceengaging and presenting at MANCO and EXCO level
- Strong vendor and serviceprovider management experience
