Job summary

PSG Konsult Ltd. invites applications for Head of Information Systems in Tyger valley, Cape Town. The role leads IT strategy, architecture, data governance and delivery across business lines, ensuring alignment with PSG Group priorities.

You will manage the IT team, drive automation and system integrations, and partner with MANCO/EXCO for strategic decisions. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field and at least five years in a senior IT

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience managing a complex environment with automation and system integrations.
Demonstrated experience engaging and presenting at MANCO and EXCO level.
Strong vendor and service provider management experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, own and execute the short and long-term IT strategy in support of business objectives.
Align technology investments and delivery with PSG Group priorities and governance.
Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Oversee data governance, reporting capabilities and information management practices.
Manage incident, service delivery and production support processes.
Ensure cybersecurity, risk management, regulatory compliance and DR/BC planning.
Oversee budget, vendor management and contracts for technology assets.
Partner with business leaders to deliver technology-enabled business outcomes.
