Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a senior finance leader to drive budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A across the business in South Africa. You will lead a talented team, develop business cases, and deliver insightful reporting to executive leadership and Boards.

The role requires CA(SA) with 5+ years in finance leadership, strong Excel and modelling capabilities, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a finance leadership or managerial role within industry
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple business functions
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Commercially minded with a passion for driving business performance through data and insights

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts across the business
• Drive financial planning and analysis activities, providing meaningful insights and recommendations
• Partner with departmental leaders to monitor spending, improve profitability, and achieve EBITDA targets
• Develop business cases, financial models, and ad hoc analyses for strategic initiatives
• Oversee capital expenditure (Capex) planning and investment allocation decisions
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including variance analysis and executive commentary
• Prepare and review presentations for Boards, shareholders, lenders, and executive leadership
• Collaborate with Data and IT teams to enhance reporting capabilities and financial visibility across the business
• Provide key finance leadership during system implementations and business transformation projects
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Financial Planning & Reporting team
