Job summary

Uzenzele Holdings (UH) seeks a commercially sharp, systems-oriented Head of Finance (Contract) to build and operationalise the company’s finance infrastructure during scale. This role goes beyond traditional accounting, enabling executive decisioning with real-time data and scalable governance.

The role oversees MI systems, reporting design, cash forecasting, and process automation, partnering with the CFO and Integrator to establish a repeatable financial operating rhythm.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in operational finance, FP&A, or finance transformation.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets capability.
• Experience building reporting and forecasting systems.
• Strong commercial and business analysis skills.
• Experience operationalising finance processes in scaling businesses.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Comfort designing processes and frameworks, not just reports.
• AI-forward orientation to automate routine finance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and operationalise the financial MI system for real-time visibility.
• Create executive dashboards, monthly packs, and unit reporting.
• Develop rolling cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning.
• Translate finance activities into repeatable operational processes.
• Strengthen governance, controls, and accountability structures.
• Uplift team capability and implement AI-enabled efficiency improvements.
