Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Head of Engineering, POS Supply Chain, to own the software platform behind millions of POS devices. You will lead a remote, distributed engineering org, set architecture standards, and drive platform-level solutions across inventory, logistics, repair, and data tooling.

You will shape the technical strategy, mentor managers, and partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable systems powering payments and device management at scale.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• 5+ years managing managers (engineering leaders).
• Deep hands-on experience in supply chain, inventory, warehouse or logistics software at scale.
• Fintech or regulated industry experience, with device-management in payments.
• Strong backend engineering skills for data-intensive, distributed systems.
• Proven system design ability at large scale (hundreds of thousands of devices).
• Experience growing teams of 20+ engineers and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics tools.
• Lead an engineering organisation of ~25 engineers (plus managers, QA, SRE, Data).
• Drive platformisation of inventory and supply chain systems for trustworthy data.
• Bridge operational needs with software systems through disciplined solutions.
• Define architecture standards, processes and quality metrics for reliability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering solutions.
• Hire and develop engineering managers to support team growth to 30+.
