Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality in Limpopo is seeking a hands-on partner to lead guiding and drive for a 21-day cycle, while a second partner manages day-to-day lodge operations, guest experience, and staff.

The roles require a strong track record in guiding and lodge management and a collaborative leadership style, with a 3 weeks on / 1 week off live-in commitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years guiding experience at a 5-star establishment or guiding leadership role.
• FGASA NQF4 or Professional Field Guide qualification, with Full Trails.
• All guiding documentation (First Aid, FGASA, DEAT, PDP, ARH) current and valid.
• Valid driver''s license and PDP essential.
• Able to handle physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lodge operations, guest relations, and staff management.
• Manage stock control, stock takes, and budget oversight; plan ahead and problem-solve across departments.
• Uphold safety standards and environmental best practice at all times.
• Maintain consistently high guest satisfaction.

Job description

This is a hands-on partnership role for an established guide paired with a capable operational manager; one partner will lead guiding and drive for the majority of the 21-day cycle, while the other oversees the day-to-day running of the property, guest experience, and staff.

Core Criteria:

Guide:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a guide at a 5-star establishment and/or in a guiding leadership role
• FGASA NQF4 or Professional Field Guide qualification, with Full Trails
• All guiding documentation (First Aid, FGASA, DEAT, PDP, ARH) current and valid
• Valid driver's licence and PDP essential
• Able to handle physically demanding work in varying weather conditions

Manager:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Big Five, 5-star safari lodge environment
• Experience with PMS/POS systems; ResRequest experience beneficial
• Proficient in MS Office and email
• Financial experience in budgeting, stock takes, and stock control
• Strong guest relations and staff management ability

Both:

• Mature, confident, and an analytical thinker with strong decision-making ability under pressure
• Natural leadership qualities
• Well-presented and well-spoken, with excellent references
