Placements24 is seeking an experienced Head Caterer to lead culinary operations for boutique events in Paarl. You will oversee menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences for a discerning client base.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in culinary arts, including 3+ years in a Head Chef or Head Caterer role, strong food costing, and deep knowledge of food safety.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the catering kitchen, including menu development, food preparation, and execution.
Oversee a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and motivation.
Develop innovative and seasonal menus that cater to diverse client needs and preferences.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
Manage inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships to optimize costs and quality.
