Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a senior leader to own a high-volume asset-backed recovery function. This role requires experienced management of recoveries and legal collections within a complex, performance-driven environment.

Lead governance, drive ROI and oversee external attorney partnerships while shaping recovery strategies across portfolios to optimise asset recovery and stakeholder value.

Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce, Economics or Law; postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum seven years’ experience with at least five in senior legal collections management.
• Strong commercial and strategic leadership capabilities.
• Experience in high‑volume recoveries and legal environments.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive performance.
• Experience defining and driving recovery strategies across portfolios.
• Overseeing call centre collections and legal escalation decisions.
• Managing end-to-end legal recovery processes.
• Optimising asset recovery (movable and immovable).
• Managing external attorney firms and performance.
• Driving ROI, cost-to-collect and overall recovery performance.
• Ensuring governance, compliance and stakeholder alignment.
