Job summary

BCE Foods is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Inbound Manager to own inbound warehouse operations in Gauteng. You will lead Receiving, Credit & Returns, Administration and Housekeeping while driving stock accuracy and process discipline.

The role requires a strong background in warehouse operations, people leadership and a focus on safety, cost control and continuous improvement. You will coach teams, implement SOPs and maintain high standards on the floor.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• 5+ years in warehouse operations, with 2–3 years in supervision or management.
• Strong practical experience in receiving, inventory control and warehouse management.
• Experience managing a team in a busy warehouse environment.
• Proven experience with stock takes, cycle counting, stock variances and inventory investigations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, SOPs and stock movements.
• Experience managing warehouse productivity and performance through KPIs.
• Good knowledge of warehouse safety and OHSA requirements.
• Experience with an ERP or Warehouse Management System.
• Strong computer, reporting and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse & Receiving Operations: Manage daily operations of receiving and supporting warehouse functions.
• Oversee receiving and off‑loading of supplier trucks and containers and ensure accurate stock recording.
• Ensure stock is barcoded, labelled and processed before release into the warehouse.
• Maintain housekeeping and warehouse standards including safe storage and accurate bin locations.
• Lead, coach, train and develop warehouse teams; set KPIs and performance objectives.
• Drive safety, cost control and continuous improvement; ensure SOPs and OHSA compliance.
• Take ownership of daily operational problems and implement improvements quickly.
