Job summary

Manpower Group in Gauteng is seeking a seasoned Sales & Business Development leader to drive branch performance. You will lead a sales team, develop branch plans, monitor outcomes and align activities with corporate objectives.

The role requires 10+ years in high-level sales, 2–4 years in senior management, strong budgeting, SAP ERP and Excel skills, and excellent English communication. Travel and overtime may be required to deliver growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
10+ years’ high-level sales experience with leadership responsibilities.
2–4 years in a senior management/branch management position.
Strong knowledge of sales, customer service and business operations.
Proven experience managing and motivating sales teams.
Advanced financial acumen including budgeting and cost control.
Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel regularly and work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the branch sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Develop and implement effective branch sales plans and strategies.
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Work closely with senior management to align branch activities with overall business objectives.
Assist with annual sales budgets using historical performance and regional market insights.
Ensure ongoing product, sales and skills development for branch employees.
Drive a customer-centric culture and measure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with technical and customer service teams to improve service procedures.
Oversee branch stock control and maintain SAP records with high accuracy.
Monitor debtor collection and manage branch budgets for profitability.
