The Accountancy Recruitment Group Ltd is supporting a fast-growing SME in its search for a fully-fledged Financial Controller. You will overhaul controls, streamline month-end, and enhance the board reporting with strong MI and commercial insights.

Joining a mentor-led environment, you will develop a small finance team and prepare the business for future acquisitions, with opportunity to progress into an FD role as the group grows.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with relevant PQE.
• Strong IT and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience coaching and developing a small finance team.
• Proactive, change-minded approach and finance process improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Overhaul controls and the month-end reporting pack for slick processes.
• Develop coaching to the squad to ensure accurate board packs.
• Drive improvements, potential M&A processes, and MI/insights.
• Collaborate with the FD and SME leadership to support growth.
