Job summary

Exclusively Remote is seeking a mid-level Bookkeeper to join an in-house team dedicated to servicing small to mid-sized businesses. You will perform advanced bookkeeping up to trial balance, manage client queries, and coordinate with staff.

The role offers growth into a senior or lead position, with room for professional development and autonomy as the firm expands. Strong QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Google Sheets, and Office suite skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience (preferably in a firm environment).
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
• Solid working knowledge of Google Sheets and Microsoft Office.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with a professional client-facing manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced bookkeeping for multiple small to mid-sized business clients.
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping up to trial balance.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding financial queries and reporting.
• Coordinate workflows with internal staff and support junior team members as needed.
• Assist with general office administration and process improvement.
• Ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
