Job summary

Vodafone is seeking a strategic Treasury Leader to manage Funding, Asset and Liability Management across eight markets from a Group level. You will steward capital allocation, optimize capital use, and shape the capital strategy in collaboration with the Group CFO to build financial resilience.

You will lead cash and liquidity management, funding strategies, risk management, and policy governance, while coordinating with CFO, Board, and external partners.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) credential or equivalent with senior treasury exposure.
• 15+ years in treasury, 10+ in a senior management role.

Responsibilities

• Review cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity across operating companies.
• Invest centralised cash pool daily in money markets per policy.
• Develop funding strategy and expand funding sources (banks, DFIs, etc.).
• Support M&A funding activities and liaise with banks and rating agencies.
• Ensure treasury policy alignment and accurate reporting to CFO/Exco/Board.
