Job summary

Perfect Placement Recruitment is seeking a Group Operations Manager in Irene, Centurion - Gauteng. The role focuses on managing toll collection operations and route services, ensuring service integrity and customer relations while aligning with contracts and company policies.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in operations management, a Grade 12, and an Operations Management Higher Diploma, plus a valid Code 08 driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education & experience requirements as specified: Grade 12; Operations Management Higher Diploma or related qualification; valid Code 08 driver’s license.
• At least 8 years related experience in operations management.
• Strong leadership, financial, and contractual/analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee toll collection operations for specified road projects.
• Manage budgets and financial controls in line with contracts and audits.
• Forecast traffic volumes and staffing needs for operational planning.
• Lead, develop and coach operations staff; strong internal communication.
• Build relationships with road users, clients, suppliers and government bodies.
• Ensure health, safety, security, and compliance with laws and company policies.
• Coordinate and manage special projects and contractor performance.
