Job summary

Hollard Insurance in Johannesburg seeks a Group Learning and Development Manager to shape the learning strategy, lead leadership development, and build a robust capability framework across the Group.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive succession planning, compliance, and digital learning transformation, manage budgets, measure ROI, promote inclusion, and enable workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, L&D, or a related field.
• Proven experience in group learning and development, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Group-wide learning strategy covering leadership, compliance, and core business capabilities.
• Design and manage induction programmes, competency frameworks, and career development pathways.
• Partner with Talent Management to strengthen leadership pipelines and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory learning requirements and facilitate accredited development programmes.
• Measure learning effectiveness through dashboards, scorecards, reporting, and ROI analysis.
• Manage learning budgets and training expenditure.
• Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives through targeted learning and development programmes.
• Collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and external stakeholders to enhance workforce capability.
• Promote the adoption of digital learning platforms, micro learning solutions, AI enabled learning tools, and workforce planning practices.
• Develop and implement learning policies and best-practice learning frameworks across the Group.
