Job summary

Orion Minerals seeks a Group Financial Accountant in Gauteng to oversee monthly statements, consolidate data and ensure statutory reporting compliance. You will analyse variances, prepare monthly and annual statements, and support financial controls across the group.

Applicants should hold a CA(SA) with a financial degree (NQF7) and a valid driver's license; at least two years in a similar role, preferably in mining. The role reports to the Finance Leader.

Job description

The GroupFinancial Accountant is responsible for preparing monthly statements by collecting data; analysing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends. The incumbent prepares monthly and annual statements by assembling data. The position will also be responsible for the financial accounting and statutory financial reporting affairs by ensuring compliance with the Companies Acts requirements.
