Job summary

Network Finance seeks a qualified CA(SA) to lead the group reporting, statutory reporting and complex consolidations across the organisation.

You will own the group financial reporting, oversee statutory statements, manage intercompany eliminations and coordinate external audits, driving improvements in processes and controls while leading the finance team.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CA(SA) who is passionate about group reporting, statutory reporting and complex group consolidations. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the group finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while driving financial excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full group financial reporting and consolidation process
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reports
• Manage the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Lead complex group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliation of group balances
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, accounting standards, tax and statutory requirements
• Oversee the month-end and year-end reporting process across multiple entities
• Review management accounts, financial results and key financial performance indicatorsManage and coordinate the annual external audit process
• Work closely with senior management and operational finance teams across the group
• Drive improvements in financial reporting processes, systems and controls
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the wider finance team
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team

Requirements

• CA(SA) qualification is essential and non-negotiable

• Minimum of 5 years' management experience within a group or multi-entity environment
• Proven experience managing complex financial reporting and consolidation processes
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements

• Experience working in a complex, operational and commercially driven environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills
