Job summary

TWK Agri invites applications for a Group Financial Manager: Shared Services in Pretoria. You will provide consolidated financial management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and management reporting for Shared Services.

The role includes improving systems, processes, controls and cost allocations to support executive decisions. You will lead forecasting accuracy, prepare monthly variance analyses, oversee intercompany actions and provide strategic financial insight to the Finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CA(SA) / CIMA or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ proven financial management experience, preferably in a shared services environment.
• 3–5 years’ leadership or team-coordination experience.
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS, tax and relevant legislation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual Afrikaans and English.
• Practical SAP experience, including financial processes and reporting.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; ERP and BI reporting tools.
• Strong consolidation, analytical, problem-solving and review skills.
• Ability to influence and coordinate across multiple businesses and finance teams.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and consolidate cash flow forecasts for Shared Services.
• Monitor actual cash flows against forecast and explain variances.
• Assess assumptions and refine forecasting methodology.
• Support cash flow improvement through creditors management and accruals.
• Oversee monitoring of Shared Services debtors and intercompany recoveries.
• Assist with liquidity planning, funding requirements and payments prioritisation.
• Support ERP implementation and data clean-up and system testing.
• Maintain knowledge of financial systems and controls across Shared Services.
• Support consolidation and monitoring of financial plans and budgets.
• Define cost, allocation and budget drivers and report monthly.
• Coordinate evaluation and monitoring of capital expenditure across Shared Services.
• Coordinate consolidated forecasts for review and approval.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, flag discrepancies.
• Support consistency of financial processes and reporting practices.
• Oversee working capital indicators and cost-control measures.
• Ensure internal cost allocations are complete and based on drivers.
• Governance of fixed assets, leases, depreciation and disposal controls.
• Review monthly statements and provide insights into performance.
• Provide IFRS support and consistent accounting treatment.
• Identify material risks and escalation and remedial actions.
• Continuously improve financial reporting integrity and timeliness.
• Support insurance coverage for Shared Services assets.
• Provide additional financial reporting and analysis as required.
• Coordinate deadlines and reporting standards across the team.
• Promote knowledge sharing and standardisation across Shared Services.
