Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CA(SA) designation essential.
• Master’s degree advantageous.
• 3–5 years in financial management, preferably in agriculture/forestry/manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of leadership or team coordination.
• Strong IFRS, budgeting, and cost-control knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling; ERP/BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate, and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term cash flow forecasts for Timber division.
• Monitor cash flows vs forecasts; explain variances and advise actions.
• Assess assumptions and refine forecast methodologies as needed.
• Support working capital management: inventory, debtors, creditors.
• Monitor debtor aging and coordinate collection actions.
• Assist liquidity planning and prioritise capital commitments.
• Support ERP implementation and improve reporting processes.
• Maintain consistent data standards and controls across Timber finance teams.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and consolidate financial plans for Timber.
• Analyse performance and provide actionable insights to management.
