Job summary

Aspen Pharma Group in Durban seeks a Group Risk Manager to lead design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management capability across the Group. You will establish Group-wide risk frameworks, appetite processes and governance, working with business leaders to identify and manage material risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in risk management, accounting, finance, business administration, management sciences, law or engineering.
• Experience in enterprise risk management, governance and insurance within a complex organisation.
• Experience presenting reports to executive and Board-level audiences.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000 and COSO ERM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the Group ERM strategy, policies and operating model.
• Embed ERM across regions, business units and functions.
• Lead risk workshops and horizon scanning activities.
• Monitor risk appetite measures and key risk indicators.
• Prepare risk reporting for Executive Management, Audit & Risk Committee and Board.
• Oversee Group Insurance Programme and risk financing.
• Develop risk awareness and a network of risk champions.
• Lead risk digitisation, analytics and process improvement.
• Manage budgets and develop direct reports.
