Job summary

Pick n Pay in Alexandra/Sandton is seeking a Shelf Packer – Groceries to ensure products are packed, displayed, priced and replenished on store shelves in line with our standards.

Key duties include maintaining product availability, correct stock rotation, clean aisles and delivering friendly service while following procedures. Grade 12 and teamwork skills are required; shifts and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in shelf packing or grocery retail is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of stock rotation and expiry dates.
• Ability to read product labels and pricing information.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pack and display groceries, ensure correct pricing and replenishment.
• Maintain product availability and stock rotation.
• Keep shelves and department clean and organised.
• Provide friendly customer service in line with store standards.
• Assist with stocktaking, deliveries, price changes and shelf-label updates.
