Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Plant Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of greenhouse management or commercial horticulture.
- Strong knowledge of plant physiology, crop nutrition, and pest/disease control.
- Experience with environmental control systems and hydroponic/soilless culture is a plus.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily greenhouse operations, including planting, propagation, cultivation, and harvesting.
- Monitor and control environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, light, and CO2 levels.
- Implement IPM and disease control strategies.
- Develop and administer fertilization and irrigation programs tailored to crops.
- Supervise and train greenhouse technicians and labourers.
- Maintain detailed records of crop performance, inputs, and environmental data.
