Job summary

Wenbro Hire is seeking a hands-on Graphic Designer & Videographer to elevate our brand. You will translate marketing strategy into high-impact digital designs, motion graphics, photography and video campaigns.

Role requires a BA degree in a related field and 3–6 years of experience. Proficiency in Adobe CC, Canva and Monday.com is preferred; in-office in Pretoria's Silverton area.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Film Production or related field.
• 3–6 years of proven industry experience in fast-paced teams.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, After Effects and Lightroom.

Responsibilities

• Create marketing artwork for digital platforms, social media, print media and packaging.
• Plan, direct, shoot and edit promotional videos and basic 2D animations.
• Conduct in-studio and field product photography for ecommerce and promo materials.
• Design equipment branding decals and manage vinyl application & inventory.
• Develop website visuals, blogs and email campaigns.
• Build brand templates and maintain asset libraries with version control.
• Collaborate with Marketing Manager and sales teams to support campaigns.

About the Role:

Wenbro Hire is seeking a creative, hands-on Graphic Designer & Videographer to shape and elevate our brand presence. In this role, you will translate marketing strategy into high-impact digital designs, motion graphics, commercial photography and video campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visual & Print Design: Create marketing artwork for digital platforms, social media, print media, product packaging, catalogues, and internal corporate communications.
• Video Production & Animation: Plan, direct, shoot and edit promotional videos, lifestyle content, product demonstrations and training materials for YouTube and social campaigns. Produce basic 2D animations and motion graphics.
• Product Photography: Conduct in-studio and field photography for website product pages, e-commerce listings and promotional materials.
• Product Branding & Vinyls: Design equipment branding decals and application guides, oversee correct physical vinyl application and manage vinyl inventory tracking and storage.
• Digital & Web Assets: Design and update visual content for the company website, promotional blogs and targeted email marketing campaigns.
• Asset & Template Management: Build, organise, and maintain brand templates, raw footage archives, stock assets and design files with proper version control.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with the Marketing Manager, sales representatives and branch teams to support marketing campaigns, promotional activations and external supplier print jobs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Formal Education: BA Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Film Production or a related discipline.
• Experience: 3 – 6 years of proven industry experience within a fast-paced, collaborative team setup.
• Software Mastery: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, After Effects and Lightroom. Proficient in the Microsoft 365 Suite, including Excel and Word. Proficient in Canva (presentations). Comfortable using task management software (Monday.com highly beneficial).
• Operating Systems: Direct experience working within the Apple/macOS ecosystem is highly beneficial.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience in the construction, plant hire or technical equipment industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Travel & Licensing: A valid driver’s licence and full willingness to travel monthly (including Pretoria to Polokwane branch trips and live event sites) are critical.
• Site Comfort: Must be comfortable working directly in workshop, factory, construction site and field environments for photo and video shoots.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of print execution, product vinyl application, signage board production and merchandise preparation.
• Soft Skills: Clear, confident communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to visual detail.
