Job summary

Tiger Brands in South Africa is seeking a Demand Planner to develop a 24-month rolling, unconstrained demand plan across categories with regular revisions of risks and opportunities, reflecting the best estimate of future customer demand.

You will lead demand reviews across categories, build the capability of a team of demand planners, and drive continuous improvement in processes and tools for demand planning, including baseline forecasting and collaboration with Sales & Marketing and Supply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of planning experience.
• Experience in sales and marketing desirable.
• FMCG industry experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales trends and validate promotional uplifts and integrate into demand.
• Lead Category Demand Review and compile demand packs.
• Manage and build capability of a team of demand planners.
• Develop baseline demand forecasts using statistical methods for rolling horizon.
• Collaborate with S&M and supply teams to align demand with supply.
