Job summary

Placements24 is seeking creative and user-centric Graduate Trainee UX/UI Designers to join their fully remote product development team. You will work on web and mobile interfaces, collaborating closely with developers and product managers in a virtual setting to craft intuitive experiences.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Design or HCI, an understanding of UX/UI principles, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Qualifications

• A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles, user-centered design, and accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant design projects (academic or personal).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective for remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications based on user research and best practices.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using design software.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand user needs and translate them into engaging user experiences.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Participate in user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and data analysis.
