Placements24 in Welkom is seeking a motivated Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our team. This entry-level role focuses on identifying and engaging emerging talent for client organizations in the Free State.

You will work closely with senior consultants, learning the recruitment process from sourcing to client management, in a supportive, growth-oriented environment that values communication and career development.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., HR, Psychology, BA) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong desire to learn and build a career in recruitment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• A proactive attitude and a keen interest in connecting people with opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and screening potential candidates, especially graduates.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain and update the candidate database with accurate information.
• Support senior consultants with client relationships and hiring needs.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to assess suitability and interest.
• Learn and apply best practices in candidate engagement and recruitment marketing.
