Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Financial Accounting or related field.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Pastel or QuickBooks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team player.
• Eagerness to learn and pursue accounting qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Perform bookkeeping including bank reconciliations and GL entries.
• Assist with tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Support senior auditors in planning and executing audits.
• Gather and analyze financial data for audits and assurance.
• Prepare audit working papers and documentation.
• Assist with management accounts preparation.
• Respond to client queries and provide accounting support.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Contribute to team meetings and ad-hoc tasks.
