Placements24 is seeking a proactive Graduate Business Development Associate to join our expanding Kimberley team. You will identify new market opportunities, nurture client relationships, and contribute to revenue growth through sales, marketing and strategic planning.

This hybrid role offers in‑office collaboration with remote flexibility, extensive training and mentorship, clear career progression, and opportunities to travel to client sites and industry events as you build your business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• Interest in business development, sales, or marketing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
• Prior internship experience in a sales or business-related role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential new business opportunities and target markets.
• Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the client base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through various communication channels.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align business development efforts.
• Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and market intelligence.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
• Participate in networking events and industry conferences to represent the company.
• Contribute to the development of sales collateral and marketing materials.
