Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong commercial experience with Go / Golang
• Solid understanding of goroutines, channels, Go modules and Go tooling
• Experience developing and maintaining backend services and APIs
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Experience writing unit, integration and performance tests
• Strong SQL and/or NoSQL database experience
• Experience with database optimisation
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Git experience
• Understanding of secure coding practices
• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and APIs in Go with focus on scalability and reliability
• Contribute to robust integrations and cloud-based deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and improve systems
• Write tests (unit/integration/performance) to ensure code quality
• Follow secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle
