Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town seeks a Senior Software Developer who will architect systems, own outcomes, and mentor others. You will build cloud services in AWS, develop front ends with Vue.js, and maintain Zoho Creator apps, while guiding DevOps and architecture decisions.

The role requires 6+ years of software development, strong JS/Python skills, and a Bachelor's in CS/Eng. Remote work is not indicated; salary is competitive and based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience managing databases, compute infrastructure, and external integrations.
• Experience with Vue.js or UX design is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to design resilient web and native applications.
• Experience building systems with complex external integrations.
• Strong understanding of scalable and efficient system design.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud architecture.
