ATS Client in Cape Town is seeking a versatile, cross‑functional Mid‑Level Software Developer to join our growing team. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 3–6 years of relevant software development experience are required.

The role involves building across our tech stack, developing cloud services in AWS with Terraform and Python, and creating front ends with modern JavaScript frameworks. The position offers growth into a highly adaptable engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with at least one backend framework (e.g., FastAPI).
• Database management experience.
• Familiarity with Vue or UX design is a plus.
• DevOps & Engineering practices.
• Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with cloud architecture (AWS preferred).
• Strong developer workflows and best practices.
