Job summary

Rhenus Logistics is seeking a Tender Manager to oversee the end-to-end tender process, from opportunity intake through final award. You will coordinate with Sales, Product Teams, and other stakeholders to craft proposals and drive a high-quality, timely response.

You will guide pricing discussions, analyze customer needs, and maintain tender dashboards. The role requires strong Excel skills and experience in freight forwarding, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Tender Management or

Qualifications

• Experience in tender management or freight forwarding.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Tender Management / freight forwarding.
• Strong MS Excel and business applications.
• Ability to communicate with regional and global teams.
• Analytical skills to translate complexity into clear instructions.
• Ability to work with internal stakeholders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Actively manages the entire tender process from planning to final award.
• Collaborates with Sales, Product Teams and internal stakeholders to evaluate solutions and plan tenders.
• Owns and coordinates Tender Management activities across the plan.
• Supports Account Owner in analysing customer needs and related approvals.
• Analyses deliverables from Product, Pricing and P&L; renegotiates rates when needed.
• Maintains Tender reporting tool and dashboard.
• Drives continuous improvement through tender follow-up with stakeholders.
• Meets personal and team KPIs for tenders; ensures on-time, full submissions.
