Catch is seeking a Tax Technical Research Specialist to support the Tax Technical Team in reclaiming withholding taxes on dividends and interest. The role requires strong research skills, understanding of international tax treaties, ECJ case law, and collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.

You will contribute to process improvement, develop new service offerings, and provide expert guidance to clients on tax recovery strategies.

Formación

• Honours degree in accounting, taxation, law, finance or a related field.
• Master’s degree (e.g. taxation) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of taxation principles, with focus on treaties and EU regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-depth research on international tax treaties, domestic laws and EU directives related to withholding tax reclaims.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to strengthen claims and improve processes.
• Identify opportunities to refine technical methodologies and develop new service offerings.
• Prepare cover letters and review claim documentation for complex cases.
• Provide technical guidance to clients on withholding tax recovery strategies and claim eligibility.
• Assist in addressing queries from tax authorities and preparing responses.
