Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Programme Manager for a Global Securities Services Digital Transformation Programme. The role focuses on delivering a large-scale change, coordinating multiple projects, and managing inter-dependencies to ensure an integrated programme.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in project and programme management, especially within investment banking and business technology solutions, with strong knowledge of Agile ceremonies (Scrum/SAFe).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Project Management experience.
• 5+ years Portfolio/Programme Management experience.
• 5+ years investment banking experience in implementing Business Technology solutions.
• Fully comfortable with Agile delivery methodology and ceremonies (Scrum or SAFe).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful delivery of the whole of the proposed change, co-ordination of the programme's projects and management of their inter-dependencies.
• Overall integrity and coherence of the programme.
• Develop and maintain the programme environment to support each individual project within it.
• Deliver the change.
• Oversight of risks and issues arising.
• Coordinate the new capability for the business to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits.
• Plan and design the programme and monitor progress, resolve issues and initiate corrective action.
• Define the programme's governance arrangements and ensure quality assurance and alignment with standards.
• Manage the programme's budget and resources across projects.
• Facilitate appointment of individuals to project teams.
• Ensure delivery of new products/services on time and within budget.
