Job summary

Protect Group, a fast-growing SaaS group with global reach, seeks an Accountant in Cape Town to join the Finance team. You will manage local and foreign accounts, handle GST/VAT, and oversee accounts payable, month-end activities, and currency reconciliations.

The role requires SAIPA or CIMA qualification with articles completed or current progress toward full qualification, strong English and excellent attention to detail in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• SAIPA or CIMA qualified with completed articles or current progress towards full qualification.
• Fluent professional English is essential and strong communication skills.
• Experience as an accountant within a finance team beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts for local and foreign entities.
• Account for GST/VAT and draft returns.
• Process accounts payable and supplier invoices; prepare payments.
