Placements24, on behalf of a leading global cybersecurity firm, is hiring a Remote Information Security Operations Lead responsible for guiding the SOC, threat detection, and incident response across a distributed team.

The role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and cloud security, able to manage security operations from anywhere.

You will work with IT, Legal and Compliance to strengthen protections and report metrics to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in information security with 3+ in leadership.
• Proven experience managing remote or distributed security teams.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and forensics.

Responsabilités

• Lead a global, remote SOC with 24/7 monitoring and response.
• Develop strategies for threat detection and incident response.
• Oversee SIEM/SOAR/EDR deployments and optimization.
• Establish SOC playbooks and documentation.
• Improve SOC efficiency and response times.
• Mentor SOC staff and coordinate with IT, Legal, Compliance.
