Placements24 seeks a highly analytical Reservoir Engineer to join a remote-first team supporting global operations in the Oil & Gas sector. You will develop and optimize reservoir management strategies using advanced simulation, production data analysis, and geological information.

The role requires a degree in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering, at least five years of experience, and proficiency with Eclipse or CMG.

Qualifications

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a focus on simulation and performance analysis.
• Proficiency with reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG).
• Strong understanding of reservoir physics, fluid flow, and geology.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate remotely within a global team structure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reservoir models using industry-standard simulation software.
• Analyze production data, well performance, and geological information to assess reservoir characteristics and potential.
• Plan and recommend optimal development strategies, including infill drilling, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), and production optimization techniques.
• Perform economic evaluations and uncertainty assessments for reservoir development projects.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings and recommendations to management and multidisciplinary teams.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in reservoir engineering.
