The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. with 10+ years of research leadership, expert molecular diagnostics experience, and strong remote collaboration skills to drive international projects and publications.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. required in Plant Pathology, Botany, Biology, or related field.
• 10+ years of extensive research experience in plant disease diagnostics, epidemiology, and management.
• Proven track record leading research projects and publishing in top journals.
• Expertise in plant disease diagnostic techniques, including molecular methods.
• Experience working in a remote, international, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global research projects diagnosing and controlling plant diseases across crops and regions.
• Develop strategies and protocols for disease management using molecular, chemical, and biological methods.
• Analyze epidemiological data to predict outbreaks and inform prevention.
