Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Remote Operations Excellence Lead to champion continuous improvement across globally distributed teams, focusing on operations originating from or connected to Polokwane. The role designs, implements, and measures improvements to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction in a remote-first environment.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to identify opportunities, develop solutions and embed a culture of operational excellence throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Operations Management or continuous improvement, remote preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma and other methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills for engaging remote teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of operational excellence initiatives across remote teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction through data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Design and document SOPs and best practices for remote operations.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure effectiveness of improvements.
• Facilitate training and workshops on operational excellence methods for remote employees.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to leverage tools and systems for efficiency.
