Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Operations Manager to lead our operational functions from a remote setting, based out of Tembisa. This leader will drive efficiency, implement best practices, and manage a distributed team without a central office.

The role demands proactive leadership, strong communication, and the ability to translate data into improvements while maintaining a remote-first culture across geographical boundaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Operations Management with significant remote team leadership.
• Proven ability to manage complex operational challenges in distributed/virtual environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with collaboration software and project management tools.
• Strong analytical skills and performance metrics experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of the company's operations from a remote perspective.
• Develop, implement and monitor operational strategies and processes to maximize efficiency and output.
• Lead, mentor, and support a geographically dispersed team of operational professionals.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms to foster team collaboration, communication, and performance tracking.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
