Job summary

Pollock and Associates seeks an experienced automation professional to design, programme and commission complex systems for a Pinetown manufacturer. The role is hands-on and technically demanding, with frequent international travel.

You will design automation processes end-to-end, specify hardware and sensors, and programme PLCs and HMIs on multi-axis systems. You will commission systems locally and abroad, resolving faults in a global context.

Qualifications

• Trade-tested electrician (Red Seal) essential.
• Five years in an automation environment.
• Five years programming complex systems.
• Willing to travel internationally, frequently.
• Electrical Engineers with specialised automation programming considered.
