EY Durban is seeking an Assistant Manager in Payroll Operate to supervise the delivery of global multi-country payroll services for small clients. You will guide payroll governance, data analytics and client engagement while coordinating with offshore and Africa teams to ensure timely, accurate payroll outcomes.

The role requires strong SA payroll knowledge, project management experience and leadership capabilities.

• Strong payroll processing background and multi-country experience.
• Experience with SA payroll legislation and processes.
• Proactive problem solving with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Ability to manage projects and lead teams across locations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide timely payroll support, governance and service delivery for clients.
• Coordinate with EY global teams to ensure accurate payroll delivery.
• Review client requests and resolve payroll queries efficiently.
• Lead offshore and Africa teams to deliver client payrolls.
• Develop payroll calendars and ensure data collection is complete.
• Maintain payroll process documentation and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage payroll projects, transitions and SLAs with senior oversight.
