Qualifications

• Eight years of progressive, professional payroll experience in a multinational listed company.
• Five years of progressive payroll management experience.
• International payroll management and administration experience.
• Experience managing payroll for multiple business units.
• Payroll bureau service management experience.
• Workday and PaySpace exposure is advantageous.
• Professional membership in SAPA or related bodies.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain payroll and the relevant payroll system to ensure value-added service.
• Manage the group payroll function for multiple business units, nationally and internationally.
• Oversee month-end activities, interface with finance, calculate payroll tax, and manage superannuation contributions.
• Handle general ledger integrations and troubleshoot.
• Investigate payroll queries and implement recommendations.
• Resolve stakeholder queries and complaints.
• Prepare payroll reports for statutory and internal use.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the payroll team.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and governance in payroll processes.
