Job summary

The Apex Group in Cape Town, South Africa, seeks a skilled Fund Accountant to join our team. You will prepare and oversee NAVs, manage multiple client portfolios, and ensure accurate financial statements and regulatory reporting.

You will mentor junior fund accountants, liaise with fund managers and custodians, and support external audits while maintaining high service standards for our clients.

Qualifications

• Commerce degree with Financial Accounting and related coursework.
• Taxation and auditing knowledge aligned with SAIPA/CIMA qualifications is desirable.
• Strong MS Excel, analytical skills and problem-solving ability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NAVs monthly, quarterly and annually with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee client portfolios, financial statements and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Assist with external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
