Job summary

Recruitify_HR in Randburg, South Africa, seeks a senior Control and Instrumentation (CI) engineer for mining and heavy industrial projects. You will contribute to EPCM delivery, oversee design and commissioning activities, and ensure operational readiness.

The role requires 10–12 years of CI experience, exposure to greenfield and brownfield sites, and PLC/SCADA/DCS expertise. International travel and a valid passport are essential, with periodic site visits to Zimbabwe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Control or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 10–12 years of experience in Control and Instrumentation engineering.
• Experience in mining, minerals processing or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience in EPCM and project delivery environments.
• Exposure to greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Experience in construction, commissioning and operational readiness activities.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA and DCS platforms.
• Must have a valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
• Site travel to Zimbabwe will be required periodically based on project requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Control or Instrumentation Engineering

Professional registration with ECSA (advantageous)
