West Coast Personnel is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to manage sourcing of technical components, equipment and raw materials. You will lead supplier negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring delivery timelines are met.

The role requires at least 5 years in procurement within engineering or heavy industry, ERP experience (IFS/SAP), and strong analytical skills.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years’ experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, mining, marine, industrial or project environments.
• ERP experience including SAP/IFS is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage RFQs, supplier evaluations, bid comparisons and supplier selection.
• Source technical components, equipment, raw materials, services and spares.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate terms.
• Review technical specs, BOMs and engineering drawings.
• Develop procurement plans and manage long-lead items and supply risks.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Build and manage supplier relationships (local and international).
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery and contract conditions.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking and cost analysis.
• Manage procurement transactions and reporting through ERP systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Workshop, Logistics, Finance, Quality and Operations.
