Job summary

SET Recruitment Consultants seeks a results-driven Procurement Manager to lead supply chain and purchasing operations in an engineering environment. You will direct local and international sourcing, manage vendor performance, and drive cost-optimization while ensuring compliance with preferential procurement goals.

Required: degree in procurement or related field, 5–8 years in procurement within engineering/tech sectors, and strong MS Excel with ERP experience (SAP or NAV/Business Central).

Qualifications

• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 5-8 years procurement/supply chain experience in engineering/technical sector.
• Experience managing large portfolios (>R300M p.a.).
• Proven contract negotiation and import/export knowledge.
• Strong MS Excel and ERP systems proficiency (Dynamics NAV/Business Central or SAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead local and international procurement of materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance and SLAs.
• Oversee inventory controls and ERP data integrity.
• Prepare monthly spend, risk, and KPI reports.
