Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Johannesburg, South Africa, seeks a Life Science Controller to accurately manage and control Life Science and Healthcare import/export shipments according to client instructions, SOPs, SARS, WHO and IATA standards and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with warehouse and service centers, ensure temperature-controlled handling, documentation, and invoicing, while maintaining CSOPs and Wis, and driving quality and efficiency across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operations Freight Forwarding Logistics.
• Experience in Life Science/Healthcare import/export is advantageous.
• Knowledge of GDP/WHO/IATA standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments meet client instructions and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and manage temperature-controlled handling and documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse, Customer Service, and Global Service Centres.
• Invoicing and record-keeping for LSHE shipments.
• Ensure adherence to CSOPs and internal SOPs / Wis.
